Minerva’s Virtual Academy

Challenge

Minerva’s Virtual Academy was born out of the pandemic and enforced homeschooling. The founder of Minerva Tutors wanted to deliver an online, secure environment for students to learn and thrive. This form of education is new so the brand identity needed to reassure parents and carers that the students would feel included, engaged, educated and empowered online.

We worked with Minerva’s Virtual Academy to launch in November 2020. Unlike traditional, brick and mortar schools, pupils follow the British curriculum from the comfort and safety of their own home. They learn at their own pace through a mixture of live group lessons and online modules, all with the support and care of an inspiring personal mentor. They take their GCSE and A-level exams, join clubs, attend weekly school assemblies, make life-long friends, and get amazing results.

Identifying competitors in the e-learning space and creating a unique ethos for Minerva’s Virtual Academy allowed us to create a bright, contemporary brand, individualistic enough to stand out in the education sector and allow us to build a unique visual language that included patterns, tailored illustrations and icons.

Minerva’s Virtual Academy was able to go to market in record time, with rapid student enrolment. We successfully delivered a school that goes beyond the expectations of parents and carers.
